This post is actually just to immortalise the fact that on the night of the England – Argentina World Cup match, when I tuned into iPlayer without an active TV Licence to watch the one and only World Cup I’m actually interested in (rooting for England as a Scot, because the Argentina fans seem to be cunts) and felt a pang of guilt and decided to purchase a new TV Licence…

… the TV Licensing website is down! I’d like to think it’s groaning under the weight of people signing up because they’ve been enjoying the World Cup (or whatever else they like) and were disappointed to hear the news that half a million more people have cancelled.

That’s why I was there, anyway. I love the BBC overall, and believe our culture will suffer immeasurably if it dies. Why did I cancel after a lifetime paying it? One name: Laura Kuennsberg, Jesus fucking Christ she’s an abomination. Worst. Political. Journalist. Ever.

Then again, maybe their website’s just shit.
